This page covers Zero's website and the Zero apps for iPhone and Mac. The first part is about the website, and the second part is about the apps.

The Website

What Does This Website Collect?

Nothing that identifies you. The website has no sign-up form, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.

Like any website, our web host keeps standard visit logs, such as your IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.

What About Downloads and Payments?

The iPhone preview is delivered through Apple's TestFlight, and Apple's terms apply to it. When hosted plans open, they will be paid on a separate secure payment page, so we will never see your card number.

The Zero Apps

Where Does My Information Live?

Everything Zero and your Zips know about you, such as your messages, memory and settings, lives in your own home. If you run Zero yourself, that home is on your Mac or on your own home computer. If you later choose a hosted plan, it will be your own private home that we look after for you.

Do You Sell My Information?

No. Zero does not sell your information, shows no ads and has no trackers.

Who Sees My Messages?

When you connect a ChatGPT or Claude plan, your messages and the details a Zip needs for a job go to that provider so it can think about them. Their terms and privacy policy apply to what they receive. On a hosted plan, Zero arranges this for you.

What About Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Trello and Other Apps?

A connected app is reached only to do what you ask. For example, a Zip reads your calendar to find a time, or drafts an email for you to send. Anything that sends, spends or deletes waits for your tap. You can disconnect an app at any time in Zero, and that stops your Zips from using it.

How Do I Delete My Information?

Deleting your account deletes your home, including your messages, memory and Zips. If you run Zero on your Mac, you can also delete the home from your Mac yourself.
